The wise live in accord with natural laws.  It is they who understand that the laws of nature are much higher than the laws of man, because breaking them implies penalties far greater than a fine or prison sentence. When a person breaks natural laws their body is progressively destroyed, and their mind suffers delusions brought on by a variety of misconceptions.  Worse still, the spiritual purposes of an individuals’ life are not served, which means they will never find true or lasting fulfillment, so long as they do not observe the underlying “rules” of the universe.  It is useful to remember that life has been built by virtue of these laws. In order to survive and to evolve, living systems have had no choice but to follow natural principles.  The atom for instance, must be composed of an electron and a proton to exist, just as a single cell must possess DNA to replicate, or a cell wall to keep its shape.  Such facts imply that life is conditional.  Human beings must therefore not assume that they can perform any act, individually or collectively, which happens to be considered amusing by the current status quo, without suffering supreme penalties.  The problems we observe in society today are a reflection of wrong intent, or in other words, of a life focus that does not observe the natural order in the Cosmos.

Sooner or later the individual concerning themselves with living in accord with natural laws, must eventually consider the concept of karma.  Most people think of karma as a reflection back from the environment of their past deeds, but the term has a more broad connotation than this. The true definition of karma is universal cause and effect.  Karma is a primary natural law, and it is one which we would do well to observe every day.  Not only do our physical actions cause effects, so do our thoughts, feelings, visualizations and particularly intentions at all moments, via the unified field of nature. An individuals’ continuous self-experience is thus shaped in large part by their preceding states of mind.  To a great extent we effect our own ongoing experiences, through the cause of previous intentions held.  The moment to moment karma in a persons’ life then, exists due to the momentum of their lifestyle and focus of consciousness, as a continuous feedback-loop of self-cause and self-effect.  This fact remains constant regardless of our awareness of the process.

Like all natural laws karma is universally applicable, which means that it is true of all people, places, times and scopes of influence.  Not only is every individual subject to the unavoidable law of cause and effect, so too is humanity in general.  At the level of the World Mind, karmic influence play an equally large part in human affairs.  The collective deeds and states of consciousness of bygone centuries, still render effects on the present day, in the form of conditions that are reflective of those past times.  Thus there exists what may be called “world karma” as well as personal karma.  The world or collective karma of our species, is a factor which the practitioner must take into consideration. In many of the previous issues of the GM series, there has been much discussion of the fear and pain which linger on in the current World Mind of humanity.  These states of consciousness have a considerable degree of inertia behind them, or in other words, momentum which needs to be offset by those of us who understand consciousness and how this may be done.  It is up to those who expand consciousness and who work for the purposes of natural law, to alleviate this lingering world karma.  It is we who must facilitate the further evolution of humanity by recognizing this world psychic condition, and its continuing effects on global events.  It is also up to those who understand consciousness to take psychic action for the good of personal, group and global karma, through the intentional projection of love and clarity world-wide.

Keeping the above in mind, it is interesting to note that one of the very best ways to raise personal or group consciousness, is to manifest consciousness-raising intentions for the environment at large.  The projection of love into one’s surroundings for instance, will noticeably result in love being reflected back to the practitioner.  In this way the meditator takes advantage of the law of karma, by knowingly projecting those qualities into the psychic fields at large, which they themselves seek to cultivate within.  In the group setting this principle holds equally true.  The psychic feedback which results from the projection of any state, will noticeably return to those who are sending it forth.  It is quite common in fact, for the projection of love, (for instance) to return to the “caster” in a form that is many times its original intensity.  This phenomena can realistically be called the, “instant (good) karma of psychic action”.  Intentional psychic action is potent in its effects, usually far more so than the unconscious projection of intent found in most persons.  Intentional psychic action on a group level is geometrically greater still, as is the level of psychic feedback created through mutual intent.

Our world is composed of fields of energy, which are coordinated into cohesive patterns by awareness on a global basis.  The manner in which this is done is in accord with the intent similarly lodged there. This Intent At Large is the product of both the Earthmind of nature and the Worldmind of humanity.  We are literally surrounded and permeated by fields of energy, awareness and intent, (consciousness).  These fields are highly reactive, responding in like kind to any impulse which is projected into them.  Similarly, communities of people form systems of minds which reciprocate in like kind, whatever state of mind is projected at them.  The same is of course true of a forest, beach or desert.  Through the group mind strength of all the plants and animals in a forested region for instance, the collective consciousness that results is of a wise, self balancing and intelligent kind.  Such collectives are fully capable of psychic response to psychic stimulus.  The fields at large in nature, and the fields at large generated by all human minds worldwide, (the Earthmind and the Worldmind respectively) are both reactive systems of consciousness which respond to psychic inputs as a  collective phenomena.

When practitioners manifest changes in the surrounding fields of consciousness, those fields respond as a collective force, much as a living organism does.  Stimulus in the form of energy, patterned by awareness and propelled by the intent of focused minds, creates a psychic reaction that reflects the original impulse.  This in turn causes interesting effects as a result.  If humanity were to take the example of the harmonious group minds of nature as a pattern for society, our species would quickly evolve to a much higher form.  Group fields created by most human communities today, are based upon the intent of material gain, competitiveness and fear.  Such intentions literally create corresponding conditions in our collective environment.  If society was patterned after the natural state of balance seen in nature, in love and unity, our world would look very different than the current norm, and so would the citizens within it. The very simplest and most direct way to change the crisis evident in modern society, is to change its prevalent negative intentions or group karma, thereby transforming the material world as a result.

Practitioners knowledgeable in the employment of consciousness and particularly intent, may themselves reach out into the collective fields of the Worldmind. They may make significant changes therein of a lasting and beneficial kind.  Through use of the group mind principle, many practitioners may Intend into place the progressive states of love and clarity into the world environment, on a large scale basis.  When many groups of practitioners do this, the gradual conversion of the intent in society, (as a collective organism) will come about.

Groups of meditators may project their intent into the world just as can the individual, making considerable impact therein.  As individuals and groups project higher intentions into the Worldmind, they convert the human intent at large into higher states of consciousness.  Thus the intent currently dominating the Worldmind, (as the result of many centuries of wrong focus) can in this way be intentionally shifted into more progressive states.  The accumulated force of intent of the last 5000 years of civilization, (world karma) maintains the stress, fear and aggressive competitiveness, that to a large degree still orients the human species for destructiveness. Through a knowledge of consciousness we may quickly reverse these trends of past centuries, and create a new standing reality within which to prosper and grow.

Conversion of the current world intent is one of the highest forms of spiritual ministry which we can undertake.  The eventual aim of this activity is to create a certain threshold of world consciousness, or a critical mass of appropriate intent which when crossed, will then transform humanity into a more evolved form.  Eventually that transformation will result in the widespread re-alignment of humanity with nature and the Earthmind.  Natural ways and wisdom will replace materialism as the world focus.   In so doing we will regain the paradise of our ancient ancestors, who knew right living to be the joy and connectedness of natural ways.  We will remember that technology and so called “progress” are not valid goals in themselves.  Technology, like material wealth, is best used as a tool for far greater things, for spiritual endeavors which nurture the purposes of the soul,  not hollow images.

Groups gathering together for the purpose of MPA, may thus proceed one step further into a higher level of spiritual work.  They may project expanded states of consciousness attained through mutual meditation, into the world at large.  Group Intent may be projected locally, regionally, continentally or world wide, depending upon the preference of meditators.  The larger the scale of focus, and the higher the level of intent employed, the greater will be the psychic and spiritual results, (as a general rule).  The raising of world consciousness as a meditative focus has very powerful potentials.  A group may “raise the world” as follows;

RAISING THE WORLD

Meet together at a pre-arranged time and place which will be conducive to meditational practice, then;

1)  Meditate together using a pre-agreed meditational form, such as the Chakra Meditation.

2) Enter into MPA with one another, (See GM series #8).  MPA will enhance the group’s projection of higher consciousness into the environment, simply because it elevates the level of consciousness of the meditators.  The higher the level of consciousness of an individual or group, the higher will their psychic/spiritual effects be, as a principle.  A group may opt not to use MPA and proceed directly into raising the world, but the above principle should be kept in mind.

3)  Step 3 consists of the employment of a group visualization of the entire Earth.  Visualize our planet as if seen from space.

4)  While maintaining the image of the entire Earth in the mind, see the influence of the group in the form of a bright light, extending out from the local region in which it exists, and spreading rapidly over the entire planet.

5)  Expand  the group mind state at the same time, be it one of love, clarity, and/or any other useful quality, while visualizing the expanding light in step four.  It is important to feel love and/or clarity expanding outward from the group, (throughout your body) while maintaining this visualization.  Send love and/or clarity to the world and all of its peoples,  just as you would a dear friend.

6)  Intend  that all people wherever they are upon the globe, be affected by this projected state, gaining the best possible benefit from it.  Know that this allows them the greater access to their own enlightenment. Intend that the effects so projected render permanent benefits for the Worldmind in general.

The above group focus is a fairly sophisticated combination of practices and intentions.  For this reason it is useful and often necessary, to appoint a facilitator to direct the group meditation, (sometimes according to a written procedure) as pre-agreed by the participants.  The facilitator acts to keep track of time,  keeping on the schedule needed if any, for the meditational format.  They coordinate each step of the above process, keeping the joint focus unified and therefore at maximum effectiveness.   When the group space is at a certain peak it is then that the facilitator will often shift the group focus from one of MPA to the world in general, or they may do so according to a given time frame as desired. Repeated “world raising” sessions will yield greater and greater results through practice, regardless of previous meditational experience alone, or in  MPA.
