An old, secretive man
entered one day upon the business of a young man,
selling books.
A staff of red hardwood he bore,
shaped into a serpent, with an owls’ head.
He said;
PROGRESSIVELY VISUALIZE MORE AND MORE
BEAUTIFUL THOUGHTFORMS!
To this the man replied;
You know of course,
that when other people hear this,
they will want to have the term “thoughtform”
defined.
In answer,  the Ancient One spake thusly;
THOUGHTS GIVEN POWER
is the meaning.
“That is what they will need to hear”
whispered the man.
“Then this is what I will tell them”
said the sagely voice, melodic.
And I will also say;
YOUR TRUE IDENTITY AS SOULS,
IS THAT YOU ARE THE VESSELS,
AND THE AGENTS,
OF THE INTENT OF GOD
M (the man) As such, what is my purpose?
S (the sage) TO ACT AS CELLS IN THE BODY OF GOD.
TO BRING FORTH A MORE EVOLVED STATE OF BEING.
M Toward what end?
S  For the establishment of greater potential.
M  The potential for what?
S  Greater action in all ways.
M  What action?
S  Manifestation!
M  What manifestation?
S  The manifestation of more than there was…
M  More what?
S  Clarity, love and self realization!
M  Why these three?
S  Because they are the most efficient means.
M  The most efficient means for what?
S  To achieve greater OMNISCIENCE and OMNIPOTENCY.
M  You mean all seeingness and all powerfulness?
S  Yes, but to GREATER AND GREATER DEGREES
WITHOUT LIMIT
M  What would you say the best use of
omniscience and omnipotency are?
S  TO KNOW ALL THERE IS TO KNOW,
AND TO DO ALL THAT THERE IS TO DO,
INFINITELY.
M  I see.
S  Cognition is wonderful.
M  For seeing, or for the seeing that you see?
S  Both, and much more, as you know.
M  To SEE ALL… like God?
S  If you have the personal power…
to embody and maintain such a state.
M  You said once;
CLARITY IS THE ESSENCE OF RAISING.
Why is this so?
S  A focus-
of gaining greater clarity
is one of the two,
 most expedient methods
for the raising of ones’ state.
M  It occurs to me then,
that,
WE MUST DO AS GOD DOES.
S  This is why I say;
PROGRESSIVELY VISUALIZE
MORE AND MORE BEAUTIFUL THOUGHTFORMS,
WHILE ALSO INTENDING GREATER CLARITY,
to those who have practiced sufficiently
the practice of  PROGRESSIVELY VISUALIZING
MORE AND MORE BEAUTIFUL THOUGHTFORMS.
M  These two intentions go together then?
S  They are like the halves of the same walnut.
M  They produce enlightenment, is this not so?
S  They are the universal process of God,
properly reflected back
by the human level of existence…
 or in other words,
YES.
And at this
the sage left the presence of Lao Tse,
satisfied with his progress.
